Tryout Details

To ensure an orderly and hassle-free experience, the 2012 Season Tryouts and team selections will follow a three-part process.

  • Part 1 is tryout registration.
  • Part 2 is tryout check-in.
  • Part 3 is player commitment and deposit payment.

Tryout Fees

  • Online registration: $40
  • On-site registration: $60 (CASH OR CHECK ONLY)

Note: We do not recommend onsite registration as the forms can take 15-20 minutes to complete and can delay your player's tryout.

**All fees are non-refundable. No exceptions.**

Tryout Registration

  1. If you have not already done so, please create or renew your USAV membership ($55.00). Leave the team choice “undecided” until you’ve accepted an offer. Make a note of the player’s USAV member number as you will need this to register for the SFVC tryout.
  2. If you have not already done so, set up and activate an SFVC account. Until your account is activated, you will not be able to sign in and complete tryout registration. Before proceeding to registration, check your email (including your junk/spam folder) for the activation email.
  3. Sign in to your account to complete the tryout registration. You will have the opportunity to register multiple players before proceeding to checkout.
  4. After you complete registration, print out the confirmation page and bring it to tryout. Also, check your email -- including the junk or spam folder -- to verify that the registration went through and that the email you provided is correct.
  5. Prior to tryout check-in, complete the USAV medical release form Adobe Acrobat Logo get it notarized and bring both items to the tryout. To avoid processing delays, please have the form notarized in advance. Although a notary will be on-site, a $5.00 fee will be charged.

Tryout Check-in

Pre-registered players will be given first priority and receive expedited processing. Be sure to have the following:

  • Registration confirmation page
  • Completed and notarized USAV medical release form Adobe Acrobat Logo
